Rare Victorian Military Solid Silver Boatswain's Whistle 1872 Navy SOLD

A rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver boatswain's Royal Naval whistle. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1872.  It has been superbly designed and is in good condition being free from splits and repairs, there are some marks and tiny dinks as is common, with these working naval whistles, but overall condition is very good.  It works well and measures approx. 13.5cm long by 2cm wide. A very nice quality historic military piece.
