Batistin Spade Stool or Ottoman SOLD

'Batistin Spade' deep button stool or ottoman dating from the early 20th century.  Spade was a decorator, designer, interior architect, maker of luxury upholstery.  His items can sell for extraordinarily high sums of money.
 
Hardly any of his pieces are signed, so lovely to have the original, stencilled name to the base cloth.  The stool is in totally untouched original condition.
