Antique Folk Art Painted Pine Will, Bible or Deed Box 1830

Antique Folk Art Painted Pine Will, Bible or Deed Box.  English Regency Period in the original paint 1830.  This box is an amazing survivor in totally untouched original condition throughout, it dates from the Regency Period of Georgian England.  The colour of the box and its painted decoration is almost completely intact with hardly any losses.  The leather hinge and working lock are also intact.
 
The quality of the paint on the faux book spine is so convincing, it is difficult to distinguish from leather.  The original purpose of the box, is a matter of conjecture, probably a will or private papers box from a gentleman's library, but could also be a deed or bible box, any thoughts please let me know.
 
This is probably the best one of these I have ever seen, let alone owned.
